Teresa Cerrato-Amador has worked in the education and non-profit space for most of her career. She has found her work helping low-income families and underserved populations access educational opportunities to be the perfect way to combine her passion for education and dedication to service. Through the years, she has been a teacher, advisor, translator, and administrator for various educational programs and non-profit organizations. At Duke TIP, she serves as program coordinator for Project Launch, helping families access crucial educational programs and increase their engagement with Duke TIP. Teresa holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in Spanish literature, and a master’s degree in counseling from West Virginia University.
