All Duke TIP programs are designed specifically for gifted students. Our talent searches help students and their families evaluate and grow their academic abilities while our educational programs provide them with motivation, challenge, inspiration, advanced interactive learning opportunities, peer interaction, and more. The starting point for younger gifted students seeking academic challenge. The program offers the PSAT 8/9 as an optional above-level test, fun educational enrichment resources, and access to learning programs.

This program helps gifted seventh graders develop their abilities and identify the extent of their academic talent through above-level testing. It is the entry point for many TIP educational programs, and benefits last through the end of high school.

International students, older students, and seventh graders who missed out on regular talent search enrollment can be considered for TIP programs by taking the ACT or SAT on their own and reporting their scores to us through 8th–10th Grade Option. 

These intensive, interactive one-day courses are held during the academic year. They explore topics not typically covered in school and let gifted students discover new passions or delve into favorite subjects.

This month-long online program for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders is offered in fall, spring, and summer. Students solve a real-world mystery while they develop their research skills and learn online best practices.

eStudies is an innovative, seven-week summer program that lets gifted students take rigorous courses in small online classes offering personal attention from expert instructors and frequent peer-to-peer interaction. Qualifying scores apply.

This weekend-long program takes place during the academic year and lets teenage scholars explore exciting new subjects in depth while evaluating their potential college majors alongside other gifted students.
