Academic Adventures at Duke University

Durham, North Carolina

Duke University, consistently recognized as one of the nation’s finest educational institutions, attracts exceptional students from around the globe for its liberal-arts, graduate, and professional studies. Academic Adventures take place on Duke’s East Campus, which was initially developed in 1892 as Trinity College and rebuilt in a stately Georgian architectural style in the 1920s. Centered on a grassy quad, East Campus supports a close-knit community atmosphere while giving young TIP students a taste of what the college environment feels like.

Academic Adventures at Queens University

Charlotte, North Carolina

Queens University of Charlotte is a private, coeducational university that was established in 1857 and is home to approximately 2,400 undergraduate and graduate students in colleges devoted to arts and sciences, business, education, communication, and health. The campus is known for its Georgian architecture and proximity to Charlotte’s historic Myers Park neighborhood. Charlotte itself is the largest city in North Carolina, making this site the ideal location for families who want to enjoy a day trip to the area while their student attends Academic Adventures on the Queens campus.

Academic Adventures at Rollins College

Winter Park, Florida

Chartered in 1885 as a coeducational liberal-arts college, Rollins is the oldest recognized college in the state of Florida. For twenty consecutive years, it has been ranked among the top regional universities in the South and first in Florida by U.S. News & World Report. Rollins College is located in Winter Park in an attractive and historic residential community adjacent to the city of Orlando. The seventy-acre campus is situated on the shores of Lake Virginia, and features a lakeside beach and walking path. It is an ideal location for families wishing to combine Academic Adventures with a trip to nearby Orlando.
