Duke TIP March 2021 Update
We are writing to provide the TIP community with an important update on programming opportunities as TIP continues to transition into a new and reimagined unit within the Duke University community. In light of ongoing COVID-19 health and safety considerations, TIP is unable to offer any in-person programming opportunities through the Summer of 2021. TIP families interested in an academic experience offered by Duke in the Summer of 2021 are encouraged to review an exciting suite of virtual course offerings administered by Duke University Youth Programs (https://learnmore.duke.edu/youth) for students in grades 6-8. The Duke University Pre-College (https://learnmore.duke.edu/precollege/all-programs) team has also developed a diverse selection of rigorous virtual course offerings this summer for students in grades 9-12.
In addition, we are writing to both acknowledge and apologize for the difficulties that many TIP families have had in connecting with us in recent months. As our transition into a new unit and accompanying IT system at Duke continues, we are no longer able to offer access to the TIP community portal, and we are unable to provide support for TIP student accounts. Moving forward, please direct all inquiries pertaining to TIP to TIP-Questions@duke.edu. Please provide us with the name of TIP student and TIP ID number if applicable so that we may respond to your email as expeditiously as is possible.
Please also continue to check this webpage for important updates about TIP. We thank the entire TIP community for your patience throughout this transition, and we look forward to providing you with more information about the innovative and enriching academic experiences that we intend to offer in the months ahead.
