Each year, Duke TIP hires more than a thousand seasonal employees to staff its educational programs in both online and face-to-face formats. Our programs take place on college campuses in Texas, Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia. Our seasonal program staff members teach innovative courses to academically talented students, design dynamic social activities that support their emotional and social development, and create a supportive community that encourages students to forge lifelong friendships with their peers.

Creating a successful educational program for academically talented students requires a team of dedicated staff members working together. We typically hire individuals to work in one of four functional areas: site leadership, academic, residential, and health and wellness. Opportunities are available in both our face-to-face and online programs.

While the majority of our seasonal positions are available during the summer months, our ongoing year-round programming allows qualified applicants to work across multiple dates and in multiple roles.
