Duke TIP is committed to furthering programs for the education of academically talented students around the world and we play a central role in linking international gifted educators.
We fulfill our global mission by participating in international symposiums on gifted education, hosting foreign delegations of educators, and developing partnerships devoted to global gifted education. We also invite academically talented students from around the world to join our 7th Grade Talent Search through TIP's 8th-10th Grade Option. If they qualify, they are eligible to attend our renowned Summer Studies Program, which are intensive three-week sessions on college campuses for students in grades seven through ten, or our popular eStudies program, which offers challenging coursework and connects gifted students worldwide using state-of-the-art, Internet-based learning technology.
TIP’s global programs division also calls on its past experience sponsoring on-the-ground programs in India and China to offer services that range from direct administration and oversight of our programs in international settings to consultation and training that assists other organizations in building local capacity.
Through this collaboration and partnership, Duke TIP connects students, parents, and educators, regardless of geography, in a global network that explores innovative programming, disseminates knowledge of best practices, and pursues research.
